Love story continues: Twilight Saga: Eclipse

I have to agree with rotten tomatoes review that this last movie of the saga Twlight won´t win new adepts to the saga, only people like me who wanted to see more of the love story between Edward and Bella ,which started in previous Twilight movies, will enjoy the film. Bella has the difficult decision to choose between the super hot teenager " Jacob", belonging to the wolves tribe ( a bit hairy when he turns into a wolf,not of my liking..)and Edward, a more mature guy, a vampire, with gorgeous hair whose reflection can be seen in the mirror and enjoys the daylight(upps! a mistake¿ or new vampire themé?). The plot of the movie is not strong enough and I´d say that dialogues suck,too they were so simple that made me laugh lol to give you one example when topless Jacob tells Edward " let´s face it, you are not hotter than me" what a big truth! or when Edward says in relation to Jacob: "doesnt he have a t-shirt?" and yes, you guessed it, Jacob is topless most of the movie, pure sex object! don´t you love it? Thank you movie script writers for this,for once,one hot topless guy in a movie and not a stupid hot female bimbo showing her tits all the time!. Also not very fashionable , Edward´s vampire tradition to be a virgin until he marries Bella, not sure if I was bella if would have chosen him , I think the wolf Jacob was a bit more modern. What happened to Copola´s Dracula ? Twilight created a new version of vampire, high-school hot teens in jeans, with beautiful eyes living on the mountatins and without coffins or people following them with crosses and garlics to kill them.

Last thing to mention, if you go to see this movie, you have to know what you are going to see, as I did, I went mostly to see the chemistry between Bella and Edward and to see beautiful Jacob and some vampire fights and this just what i got, nothingelse! I was entertained and I have to admit, if there is a 4th movie of the saga, i´ll be there, maybe to see a vampire-mortal wedding??? or Edwards clan fighting?? or Jacob topless again!!!

A new Youtube hit: Talented 12 year old Greyson Chance playing paparazzi Gagas song

A week ago, I discovered talented Greyson by chance reading yahoo news and since then I got more and more interested in this boy´s music. He is only 12 , he became famous when he uploaded on youtube one video of him playing piano and singing Lady Gaga´s song: Paparazzi, from there he uploaded it on youtube last April, just for fun and unexpectedly he has reached the 28,110,286 views of his original video so far. He has composed 2 songs: broken hearts and stars both of them are beautifully sing by his powerful voice. He sings far better than Gaga,by the way. After this youtube success the producers of the American talkshow Ellen Degeneres, called his mum for an interview and to play live in the show. From there, In the show, Greyson talked personally with Gaga and after he performed, the presenter was so impressed by him that she created her first music record label and Greyson is going to be musician artist signing with the record label!

Even though you may not like Lady Gaga or the type of music Greyson plays, it´s undeniable the talent this boy has, he is the kind of kid every mum would love to have a son, don´t you think? I wish Greyson all the best in his carreer and I´m very thankful because I enjoy very much listening to his voice.

Abuelita no te vayas..

Hay diversos estudios biológos,antropológos y sociólogos en torno a la importancia de las abuelas en las familias, sobre todo de el importante papel que juegan en la educación y desarollo de los nietos/as. Hay culturas matriarcales donde la abuela une a la familia completa en celebraciones en torno a ella. Las abuelas se convierten en una segunda madre muy respetada e idolatrada por los nietos que suelen sentir adoración por ella, la que le suele dar más caprichos y deleitar con pirópos hacia su nieto/a: " que inteligente es mi niño/a" " que guapo/a y que orgullosa estoy". Soy consciente de que no en todas las culturas las abuelas son tan valoradas, en la mia si que lo es, por eso quiero dedicarle estas líneas a todas las abuelas del mundo que tienen nietos/as que las quieren con locura. Para nosotros, la figura de los abuelos son ejemplos de sabiduría, del buen estar y de las buenas maneras y libros vivientes de historia! Yo todavia recuerdo las cartas que me solian escribir mi abuela, tanto ella como mi abuelo ,que era un gran caballero y una fuente de sabiduría continua, tuvieron una gran influencia en mi desarollo como persona y nunca me olvidaré de ellos. Aunque este artículo va más dedicado a las abuelas, para mi tanto mi abuela como mi abuelo eran mis segundos padres ,los cuales han dejado una gran huella en mi vida la cual transmitiré algún día a mis nietos.

Para terminar y no por ello menos importante, quería dedicar unas lineas a una abuela muy especial,Miriam,la cual está sufriendo en estos moentos en el hospital, luchando por su vida. Miriam,no es mi abuela propia pero si es la abuela de la persona más importante en mi vida, mi marido. Ella es un gran ejemplo de todo lo que he descrito con anterioridad y a mi me ha hecho sentir siempre como una nieta más. Lamento no poder ir a verte por la distancia, espero que te mejores, tu legado siempre va a quedar en toda tu familia que te adora.

A Dream comes true : Spain world Champions!

I know it´s predictable what I´m going to write about. But yes! I can´t avod it!The Spanish team has written a new page in the history of my country: After being European champions , now we have become World champions too, not even Queen could have foreseen this (we are the champions!my friend!)! Who would have said so after we lost the first match against the Swiss?! But no, " La Roja" (referring to the Spanish t-shirt)has made it to the amazement of many detractors. My whole country is unitted, celebrating and forgeting about recession,morgages,debts at least for a couple of days. It´s unbeliavable the joy one worldcup can bring to a nation. THis world cup has been very polemic with teams like the Italian or the French ones been elminated and other humble teams like Ghana or Uruguay playing excellently until the end! I have to say that I wouldnt have mind to see Uruguay or Ghana winning either!

I personally enjoyed a lot the semifinal with Germany and Uruguay, i was a great match but the final has been very tough to watch. I didnt know that the Dutch had such violent and dirty approach when playing and I was actually worried about any Spanish player been seriously hurt. When Xavier Alonso was quicked so heavily in the chest i just could not believe it and Andres Siniesta was also treated very badly in more than one ocassion before scoring the goal! No-one can´t say that the SPanish team deserved to win after watching the final, we played clean and our goal-keeper Casillas also played a very important role and the undeniably skills of Villa scoring 5 goals can´t be left aside.

I can die in peace now, i have seen my country winning a world cup and even though many people did not believe in us, even a German octopus like Paul did believe we could win! he guessed all the results in this worldcup, what a criature!


2010 a year to remember: Octopus Paul and the Spanish team - winners! thanx to all of us who have supported us ! I´d have loved my father to have seen this moment, I dedicate this victory to him even though i did not play i gave instructions to the players from my sitting-room !!

Lanzarote belleza volcánica // Lanzarote vulcanic beauty

Some people may not find beautiful a black-redish arid landscape, I would say that it depends on what you are looking for, if you are looking for a different landscape, to feel in another time and disconnect from the world, Lanzarote is the place to be. We went to the southern part of the island, it was not so touristy ,it was ideal to rest and enjoy the nature. At the beginning, the smell of ashes strikes you but then after a while you get used to it. On our way from the capital, Arrecife (not very beautiful,by the way)we encounteered tiny white towns full of character surrounded by Palms and vulcanic soil, I felt in Africa! Even the colour of the sky was different. It´s impressing the amount of roundabouts that the island has and it´s easy to get lost in the roads, specially if you dont understand maps like me!

We stayed at Playa blanca, the posh side of the island and to me the most beautiful. Very close was the wine area of Geria with the peculiar way of producing wine in the vulcanic soil in circles surrounded by stones. From Geria we went to the natural park of Timanfaya where after paying 8 euro entrance you can enjoy a fabulous meal in the restaurant "el diablo" where meat is cooked only with the heat of the vulcano. and you can also enjoy the typical potatoes with the Canarian sauce: Mojo (uhm!!) Amazing taste! I recommend "el solomillo", you also have a great view of the vulcanic park from the restaurant. After that you can enjoy a multilingual bus tour around the park. From Timanfaya we went to the little town of "el golfo" where you can find red mountains, with a black sand beach by a green lake! the mixture of colours is awsome! Our next stop was "los hervideros", vulcanic rocks surrounded by the atlantic ocean. On the same day we headed a bit north and managed to see the fundation of Cesar Manrique, a very famous artist on the island, his mobile sculptures are all around, this gives a special charm to the island.

Next day we headed north and went to the unique "Cactus garden" where I saw weird species of cactus and flowers. We had lunch in a small fisher town that was recommended by one of the guides from the cactus garden. Great recommendation, we would have never found that place! it was called "los rancheros"

From there we went to the cave house of " Los Jarameos del agua" where you can have a nice lunch inside the cave or have a sun bath by the pool.

We didnt manage to go to the upper north where you have "mirador del rio" and further caves and you can also take a boat to the small island "la graciosa" but I have heard that it´s worth it and I do believe it!NExt time i´ll go there!

Our hotel had typical villas from Lanzarote, small white houses and it had a good price with all included. If you ever go to Lanzarote avoid the central toursity part in the area of "Playa del Carmen", head to the south and rent a villa and a car like we did.

Car rental can easily be found at the airport, dont go to big companies and choose one local one which had much better prices, we rented one car for 3 days for only 80 euros with full cover insurance! small car but it took us everywhere! You can´t go to Lanzarote without renting a car, transportation is not abundant there, unless you want to ride a camel, what by the way you can also do! and rent karts or bikes! many healthy options! if you are looking for a place to go clubbing, Lanzarote is not for you, it´s more for people who want to explore and rest! There are many areas with no houses at all and only beautiful landscapes! Beaches are not the best and the widest but close to playa blanca there is one beach called "Papagayo" that has a very good reputation, the rest of the beaches are small and most of them with dark sand.

Although it seems so , I dont get paid by the island lol
